I am developing an ANM web service client (targeting ANM 4.1) and it appears there is a limit of 5 concurrent sessions per ANM account. Is this deduction correct? Is it configurable in ANM such that my account could be configured to allow more than 5?
Yes, this is correct. ANM 4.1 does not allow more that 5 logins per account and unfortunately this is not configurable. I suggest the you mention this to your local Cisco Account Team.
