Is it possible to do a recording using the Cisco IP/TV solution,
dump the file to the Cisco Content Distribution Manager and let
the CDM distribute the file to Cache Engines at remote sites
over the WAN at a scheduled time.(after hours)
I want the file to be available on the remote Cache Engine so that when
the client wants to view the file it must no be streamed over the
WAN but from the remote Cache Engine at the premises.

You will need to use Content Engines, rather than Cache engines at the remote sites, but yes this can be done. However, there is some work required on the Web site - any hyperlinks to media files that are to be distributed by the CDM, must include a HREF that points to the CDM. The CDM then determines which Content Engines can best server the client browser. You will need to define various zones for the Content Engines to identify clients. You can schedule the media distribution and control bandwidth usage via the CDM.

Darren.
