Can we user the same crypto certificate and key for two VIP IPs

Hi All,

I have got the requirement to install the same certificate for the same VIP IP address but IP addresses are listening on different port numbers from client.

Is it possible to have the same certificate for the same VIP IP address listening the client request from different port number?

Hi,

You can use the same certificate but the hostname/url for which the certificate was issued should be the same as well even though the IP's differ.

I'm facing an issue if I try to access URL https://10.0.0.1:9704, whereas it is working fine with https://10.0.0.1:443

Below is configuration of the L4 class map of the URL:https://10.0.0.1:9704

class VC-SSL-9704

    loadbalance vip inservice

    loadbalance policy LB-SSL-9704

    loadbalance vip icmp-reply active

    nat dynamic 231 vlan 202

    ssl-proxy server SO-SSl12 -- Is the proxy I have configured for  URL: https://10.0.0.1:443
