CE 510 - AD Seamless Authentication

Hello All. I have a Cisco Pix 515E and a Cisco CE 510 with Smartfilter. I have everything setup, and the content engine prompts for user authentication through AD. It works fine, logs if you enter blocked sites, etc..

Is there any way to seamlessly integrate the authentication to prevent users from using other users passwords? The goal would be to use the windows logged in users account as authentication.

If you're using Internet Exporer as a web browser:

From the menu, select:

Tools

Internet Options...

Security (tab)

Custom Level... (button)

Under User Authentication

Click 'Automatic logon with current username and password'

That did not fix what we are trying to do. Even after the change, with reboots, log offs, etc.. it still prompts for the user name.

Are you using LDAP for authentication. The method I provided only works for NTLM.
