CE-510 Booting troubleshoot

Hi

We have deployed neer 100 CE 510 at different locations. one of them seemed to fail since we did not have console after switching up the box. We ordered a replacement assuming that CE was failing but now new one has the same symptoms:

After connectin RJ45 cable to console and starting Hyperterminal (8n1 9600), it seems that equipment is booting correctly but after displaying screen in which devices info are shown (I mean CDROM, IDE a so on) the only thing we can see is a black screen and nothing else, booting seems to stop here.

We tried with recovery CD and the information we get is as follows:

Booting [/boot/cisco.sysimg] in 9 seconds...

Booting [/boot/cisco.sysimg] in 8 seconds...

Booting [/boot/cisco.sysimg] in 7 seconds...

Have you tried options 1, 3 and 5? If you have and still have the issue, please open a TAC case.

Since only one had this problem, and the replacement also had this problem, there may be other factors affecting this that may not seem obvious.

Thanks,

-Steve
