I have a CE 7305 setup as a CE configured for WMT streaming. I pre-position the content into the CNDFS file system with .wmv files. I have also configured a small portion of MEDIAFS only because the documentation recommends it. For testing purposes, I have configured my Windows Media Player to proxy both HTTP and MMS to the CE. When I launch a .asx file to stream the file, it streams via MMSU and MMST fine and the file is delivered from the CE but when I disable UDP and TCP from the media player to force it to stream via HTTP, the file is simply downloaded and begins playing simply because it is a .wmv file. Also, the file delivered from the Origin server and not the CE.
