CE supported features

Hi All,

I would like to understand whether the following features are supported in ACNS

1. Adding multiple .pac files to the CE, so that different clients can choose different pac files. I did refer to the below but didn't answer my questions

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/conntsw/ps491/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080394d2c.html#wp1412653

2. Does the HTTPS proxy tunneling feature support adding domain names instead of the ip address? The CLI allows the user to add hostname, but if you see the configuration it changes to an IP. I want the CE to resolve for IP address for each request so that the Load balancing configured on the server becomes effective.

3. Are there any specific ACLs for HTTPS proxy tunneling feature. For example i need to have control over who can use the above tunneling service, by blocking certain ip address.

4. how do i manunally remove the cached contents from the CE.

Any help is appreciated.

Arun

HI Arun,

find below an answers to one of your questions:

1) Yes it supports multiple proxypac (see http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/conntsw/ps491/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a008040f5d6.html#wp1041374

From my point of view you just have to upload several files(different file names for sure) and configure your clients to request the wanted one (proxy1.pac ... proxyn.pac)

Btw why do you need several different files isn't it possible to the detect the client by IP-range or any other credential and give him the specific proxy settings?

If this is possible one proxy.pac would be enough.

Kind Regards,

Joerg
