CE507 error messages

Hi,

I have 2 CE507 running in web-caching mode (WCCPv2) with ACNS 5.3.3 software. After installing the new version we discovered this particular error message that keeps popping up:

%CE-HTTP-5-270029: handle_http_100_continue():

Invalid request method(2) for 100-Continue response

My guess is the webcache is receiving some unknown HTTP methods, so is this a cause for concern?

Hello ,

my customer also gets these error messages with ACNS 5.3. But i couldn´t find any documentation on CCO. Is there any Cisoc engineer who could offer a documentation ?

This message is caused by the web server sending an incorrect response (HTTP 100) to the client. You can find the following description within the ACNS 5.3.3.8 Error Book:

CE-HTTP-5-270029: Informational message about invalid server response

Explanation: Server had sent an incorrect response of 100-Continue for a

non-POST/PUT request.

Action: Nothing to be done. It is an informational message.

The Error Book is available for download from CCO at the same location as the ACNS software.
