CE507-Smartfitler-MS Active directory HTTP authentication problem

Hello,

We have a running CE507 ver.5.0.5 for caching and SmartFilter ver3.1.2 for URL filtering. Our smarfilter is cuurently running to authenticate users HTTP trafic by IP address.

We've been trying to configure the CE507 and smartfiter to authenticate users by username authentication but until now, we're able to run the desired configuration. we are using MS Active Directory as our LDAP server.

Attached are CE507 running configuration and screenshots from smartfilter and MS Active directory for your reference.

Please give me feedback if miss some parameters from the configuration.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply. We are trying NTLM instead of LDAP authentication from the CE.

When configuring NTLM, we recieved some error(attached). I would like to ask what causes the error message and what needs to be done.
