Hi,

We got about 50+ WAE's.Is it possible to create a local user account in CDM and lock it down to only view the stats of couple 2 WAE's!

Appreciate your inputs.

regards

Hello Srini,

Yes it is possible, first create a domain and add those couple wae devices to that domain under

Home > Admin > AAA > Domains

Then create a user account with read access and access to the domain you created earlier:

Home > Admin > AAA > Users

This is further described in more detail here:

You may also need to create a custom aaa role as well.

Thanks mate.

It worked ok but still the user can run diagnostic tests under troubleshooting from the GUI. Also the device location options are still visible. I created a local account with RO access under aaaa.We dont use tacacs as we encountered lot of issues with WAAS appliances.

Do you know how to configure "locked out devices" option? The link you provided above cant be accessed because of priviledges issues.

Try this link instead:

If you still cannot get this going, you can go ahead and open a case with the Cisco TAC and we can troubleshoot this further.
