CIFS Issue with Cisco WAAS

Hi Zach,

hope you are doing well.

We have been trying to implement Cisco WAAS (software release 4.1.5D) in our organisation between two branches. We are facing some issues while trying to access the Microsoft Office 2007 word/excel file from a central file server. We can copy the files but when we are opening the file from the shared drive and modifying/saving the file, it's suddenly throwing the error "Document not saved" or "Network Permisson Error".

However we have no such issues with Microsoft Office 2003.

Please enlighten us with your valuable suggestion.

The issue is current after applying the MS hotfix - KB980232 and youi'll need to upgrade to 4.1.5f
