Hello, I have got a problem with a Cisco ACE that send a TCP RST to clients whith low bandwith...

The traffic is HTTP and I double check my loadbalancing configuration that is just fine....

What can I do to avoid this problem ?

Is it a TCP parameter that I can increase to avoid the ACE sending this RST ?

What can I check to now where the problem come from.

Here is what I did :

=> Perform a wireshark on the client (I just see a TCP RST/ACK coming from the ACE)

=> Perform a full debug using syslog on the ACE (nothing special is loggued)

Thanks by advance for all help that you will be able to provide.

I also notice a TCP Dup ACK from the ACE to my client just before receiving the RST.

Maybe it helps...

You will get a much better response if you move this post into the "Data Center -> Application Networking" forum where they deal with questions on load-balancing.

Could this be related to the fast that I don't use "no normalization" at the moment ?

Hi Vincent,

We have a similar problem but it's presenting where there is an MTU type issue on a VTI tunnel.  ICMP is doing it's thing, but the ACE seems to be sending a TCP RESET anyway.

Did you every get your problem resolved?

Julianne
