Hello, I have a problem with DNS service on Cisco CSS 11503 loadbalancers. I have two CSSs 11503 behind the same ASA firewall, each in another location/data center - let's say css-loc1 and css-loc2. Because there are more services/contents on loc1 than on loc2, configuration of css-loc2 contains static DNS records of those services/contents, that are only in loc1:
css-loc2:
dns-server
dns-record a <content_name_from_loc1> <IP_address_from_loc1>
...
Also configuration of css-loc1 contains static DNS record of one content, that is only in loc2:
css-loc1:
dns-server
dns-record a <content_name_from_loc2> <IP_address_from_loc2>
Briefly: If I ask both CSS for "dynamic" DNS record (made by content), I got answer. If I ask both CSS for static DNS record (as defined above), then I got "Server failed" error.
The app-session between css-loc1 and css-loc2 is working fine.
