Hi,
i have a topology as related below
The core wae is sitting on a separate vlan a free fastethernet interface on the core router ie they are in a separate vlan of their own.
the edge wae is also sitting in a separate vlan while the edge router is on a stick.
viewing connection statistics from the edge wae shows traffic going from the remote subnet to the data centre.
however connection statistics on the core wae still shows traffic going from the remote subnet to the data centre instead of the other way around.
is there a work around or is this perculiar to the 4.0.19 image?

Oluwatodimu,
The columns should be labeled Source IP:Port and Dest IP:Port instead of Local/Remote. This is changed in the 4.1.1 release.

Zach

Hi Zach,
The columns show Source IP:Port and Dest IP:Port.
Like I said before when you view connection summaries on the edge wae it shows traffic with source IP from the EDGE LAN to destination IP on the CORE LAN.
However viewing connection summaries on the core wae still shows traffic with source ip from the EDGE LAN to destination IP on the CORE LAN instead of source ip from the CORE LAN to destination IP on the EDGE LAN.
is this normal

Yes this is normal. The connections are displayed from the perspective of being client-initiated.

Zach
