Connection type explanation

Could someone explain briefly what the different connection types mean?  I've only found a very brief one line explanation of each and I'm still not exactly clear on what each type refers to in real life terms.  An example of each type would be really helpful if possible.

External Client

Internal Client

External Server

Internal server

Thanks in advance.

INTERNAL CLIENT- A connection initiated by this WAAS unit. Not a through connection.

EXTERNAL CLIENT- WAAS acting as branch device for this connection, its a connection initiated by actual client behind the WAAS.

INTERNAL SERVER- means that the connection is terminated on the WAE itself. For example, one branch WAAS has a port 443 connection to this WAAS for some service offered by this WAAS.
EXTERNAL SERVER- WAAS acting as data center device for the connection, its a connection initiated by a client at the branch side. Went through the branch WAAS and now going through this WAAS (datacenter side).

I asked myself the same question, can someone elaborate more on this?

Thanks

Thanks for the links Dev -

Now we know what they are, the next question is why they are not showing up as an accelerated traffic like TFO, DRE, LZ?  Is that normal?  Thanks
