Solved: Core WAE in Redundancy mode.

Hi,

We are planning to deploy two WAEs in our Data center side and we are deploying through WCCP. Kindly suggest how we can configure two core WAEs, in redundancy mode. Please share me the details regarding the WAE cluster configuration details.

Hi

WCCP offers two flavors in loadbalcning traffic across a no. of WAE's. Mask and Hash. The method to be used may depend on platforms also like ASR routers only support mask etc. overall loginc is to create buckets base on source and setination of IP's and assign buckets to respective WAE's so that a particular stream is always directed to a given WAE in cluster. below is a best pratctise document of 6500 which will guide you more---
