Couple of questions for you Cisco guys.
1. On the Cisco ACE 4710 base throughput license of .5G. What happens to the if I hit peaks of 1G? Do you drop the traffic or try to delay it with tcp?
2. Can Raytheon move a Configuration directly from an ACE MOD 10 module to what ever the latest code is on Cisco ACE 4710? If not what is different?

Hi Cecil,
To answer question 1; flows are dropped and snmptraps/ syslogs sent to a managemen station :)
To answer question 2; yes, you should be able to migrate any user context directly without any hassle.
The Admin context will require you to configure interfaces a bit differently, as it uses the 4 1gig interfaces, and not the crossbar on the cat6k
Cheers,
Søren

Hi Cecil,
When you hit a license limit the ACE start dropping the packets.
You should not have any problem to use the same configuration in the ACE appliance. You just need to configure the physicall ports
