CSM on Catalyst 6509 with CatOs

Hi everyone,

I would like to know, if there is none issue, if I configure a Server Load Balance in a Catalyst 6509 with CatOs in L2 (8.2.1), a MSFC in L3 and L4 (12.1.19E) and a CSm with version 3.2.1.

Actually, I have a hyrbrid Operation Systems running in my environment, and Who can help me, tell me if a Native IOS is a best way to obtain the best performance from CSM.

you will get the same performance with hybrid or native. It does not matter for the csm.

The only difference is that with hybrid you need to configure the CSM vlan on the supervisor manually.

Between the CSM and the sup there is a trunk.

What you have to do is enable the CSM vlans on this trunk.

When using native this is done automatically.
