CSS 11500 redundancy

Hi all,

Is it a must to have two IDENTICAL CSS11500 to configure redundancy? How about if I have 11506&11503, can I configure redundancy?

Hi Mak,

In essence, it is possible to do box/box redundancy (not active/active) redundancy using 2 different CSS. I will say it is not recommended, but can certainly be done. Things get a little crazy when customers attempt the "config sync" utility when the configs do not match.

In any event, you can do this..
