We are undergoing a datacenter redesign in which we are implementing Nexus 7000 switches at our Distribution layer and 5000s at our Access Layer. We had talked about moving our redundant CSS pair from the access layer up to the distribution layer for a more efficient traffic flow. My concern is that by doing so, we could create an orphan port situation being that all of the vlans that live on the CSS are also in the VPC domain. Does the CSS support LACP so that I could dual home both load balancers accross each of our Nexus 7000s via VPC? Or is there some other way to avoid orphaning our load balancers in the event of a VPC failure?
