CSS 11506 flow-timeout-multiplier

Greetings,

I am investigating an application issue for which <1% of HTTP calls fail with a 'transport layer issue'.

The application is loadbalanced via a CSS 11506 running v8.10.

I have seen under rule, we have the command 'flow-timeout-multiplier' command and are using default value - which means by default after 16 seconds - if the TCP flow is idle - the CSS tears it down.

My question is - is there a show command or some counter on the CSS which keeps track of the number of idle sessions torn down?

Thanks for reading,
Alan

Hi Alan,

The command "flow statistics" shows all the details but i don't see idle connection details in the output. You can do llama and go to debug mode and see if you find any command which helps you .

Please check under content rule and source group as well and if you see find the stat there. I don't have CSS access handy otherwise  i would have quickly checked.

Regards,

Kanwal
