Hi,

is there a way to see which client is stuck to a certain server and how the session distribution os done?

I did not find an easy way to find out to which server a certain client is sticky. Furthermore the sh sticky things is not realy giving an output when using layer5 rules.

Any hint or advice is appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Joerg

what kind of stickyness ?

If this is related to arrowpoint-cookies, since there is no sticky table and the cookie can basically never expire, it's hard to tell the distribution and therefore there is no command to show you any info.

All you can do is 'sho service-summary' and 'show summary' and verify what is the distribution over the time.

If there is clearly unequal loadbalancing continously, you should adjust the balancing method [use leastconn for example] or set an expiration time for the cookie.

If this is not related to cookies, please let us know what kind of stickyness.

Gilles.
