CSS config help - I am only able to access VIPs in 172.23.16.0 Subnet. For example I added the new VLAN 51, new services called cDCAEX01-SMTP and cDCAEX02-SMTP and new content rule and VIP called EXCHANGE-SMTP 172.23.26.51. Because thi si snot in 172.23.16.0 subnet I cannot access this VIP. I think I have a problem in my config because 1/1 is in VLAN 20 and 1/2 is a trunk carrying VLAN 51, 311, 315.

Do I need to make 1/1 also a trunk port?

ir

Do I shut down 1/1 and on 1/2 trunk port add VLAN 20 as well? Will this work?

Any other suggestions?

Config attached.

you have no default route on the CSS. That's suspicious.

Also, check with 'show summary' and 'show service-summary' that your new vip and services are alive.

See if you can ping the new vip.

Take a sniffer trace to see if traffic makes it to the CSS.

Gilles,

Thanks for your reply. You mean the CSS should have a default route pointing to VLAN20's IP address.

Can you please elaborate a little and may be add in some config commands for my understanding because I am not very familiar with CSS.
