Hi Guys,

Can someone please explain me when to use "redundant-index"  command ? and how it is related to source-nat configuration.

Also would like to know if its just for one arm mode.

Thanks

Ajay

Ajay,

The redundant-index command is used as part of ASR redundancy.  Every SLB object gets assigned an index number.  This is used to maintain state between the CSS pairs in the event of a failover.

Here is the documentation for that command:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/css11500series/v8.20_v8.10/configuration/redundancy/guide/ASR.html#wp1032923

Regards

Kris

Thanks for reply just wondering when we configure app session between CSS devices that time if does it provide session redundancy or just box redundancy.

Thanks

Ajay
