Cisco documentation says that you can use archive command to save your custom keep lives in archive directory, and after you are done upgrading and reboot switch you can use restore command.
What it fails to mention, is that after doing a restore on custom scripts you have to reboot again, otherwise CSS services that use those scripted keep alive keep reporting "script not found error".
My question is, is this bug or just an over sight in documentation.

Irfan,
I think this is normal.
The archive command is just there to copy file.
It does not foce the CSS to load the script into memory.
What you can do instead of the reload is a 'clear running' and then 'copy start runn'.
The goal is to remove all reference to the script from the config and then reconfigure it.
This will force the CSS to load the script file.
Regards,
Gilles.

Gilles,
So don't you think documentation should be update to include this, I have run into this numerous time, another thing that is missing from documentation is description of how upgrade happens, and timing of steps.
Anyways it is just my personal opinion that Cisco should include this fact.
