Hi All.
I am unable to delete a user account from WCM.
When I login to the CM, I then select the WCM device, go to Users I see the users in there but there is no option to delete.
However when I login to the CM and from the main screen you click on Admin > AAA > Users then the user appears there. I am also unable to delete user from there.
Any suggestions?

Hi Zubair,
You need to go to My WAN -> Admin -> AAA -> Users
When you see the list of users, just besides the username you should see the Edit ICON after clicking you will be taken to the User Account information page where on the top you should see a delete button. Just click on the delete button to delete that specific user.

Thanks but that doesnt work. The problem is when I go to My WAN -> Admin -> AAA -> Users this specific user does not appear there.
However if I go to My WAN -> I select the CM device -> then go CM Users the user name appears there, but I am unable to delete the user.
Any further ideas?

Hi Zubair,
Do you see this user on other Devices similar to the way you see it on CM under CMUsers?
When you look at My WAN -> Admin -> AAA -> Users, it should show you all users. Did you check if there is any filter applied due to which you are not seeing a user. Just Clear Filter and try.
What version of WAAS are you running on?

Hi Kiran.
I dont see this specific user under the other devices, only appears on the Primary and Standby WCM.
There is no filter applied, remember under My WAN -> Admin -> AAA -> Users I can see this user. However when I go to the actual devices I cannot and I need to delete this user somehow so I can re create it.
We running 4.4.1

Hi Zubair,
Just to summarize, you are not able to see this specific user listed user My WAN -> Admin -> AAA -> Users. However you are able to see this user under the Primary and Standby Central Manager CMusers.
I believe this user must be having the Local user "unchecked". Can you confirm that?
Did you recently performed an upgrade of WAAS and was this user shown in the AAA list before upgrade?
Are you able to logon to the CM GUI using this user?

Yes that is correct, I am not able to view the user under My WAN -> Admin -> AAA -> Users, however I am able to view them in the Pri and Standby CM under CM Users.
Where do I uncheck the Local user as I dont see that option.
We have performed some WAAS upgrades recently, however this issue was there before.
I am not able to login using that CM GUI user and that is the problem.

Hello Zubair,
As mentioned in our SR itseems that you are hitting a bug: CSCtj49204.
The users visible in the CM device -> CM Users include remote AAA users who logged in before and are now cached. When a user is in this cache you cannot create a new user with the same username.
To work around this we changed the time the CM will retain the user and later we should be able to create the user.
