I got this info from the Q&A section on the SSL Module:
Q. Is the SSL module FIPS compliant?
A. The module is not FIPS compliant, but Cisco plans FIPS Level 2 certification in the next release of the product.
When is the next release of the product slated for? Is this going to be a hardware change or simply a code upgrade? Does this mean that the CSM with SSL daughter card will also be FIPS compliant after this next revision?
Thanks in advance,
Eric

Apparently there was initially a plan to fips certified but we stopped it.
Currently, there seems to be no more plan to be certified.
Gilles.
