GSS - Interim Primary unable to connect to interim Standby

Hi

I have failed over the GSSMs using the "gss primary-to-standby" (on the primary)command, followed by "gss standby-to-primary" (on the standby).

The failover worked successfully, with the execption of the following error message on the interim standby:

Feb 14 15:16:25 pnbgss001-uksr CRM-5-ASERVCANNTCONN[27886] unable to connect to HOST

155.x.x.x:3004 Connection refused

Feb 14 15:17:04 pnbgss001-uksr last message repeated 12 times

Can anyone explain the message further?

Hi,

Is there a firewall between them? If there is, does it have TCP ports 3002-3008 open in both directions?

Hi

Yes there are two pairs of Nokias both permitting the 3004 traffic.

No logs on the interim standby GSS to state it is rejecting a connection though.
