Hi,
When defining a DNS rule using proximity, I can specify the "wait" parameter. What is the exact meaning of this parameter ? assume that I defined an equivalence window of 10%, does this mean that as soon 10% of the RTT values have been returned, the GSS answers to the client, even if other answers could arrive later ? If the answer to this question is yes, I see a risk that the returned address won't be necessarily the best answer...

With proximity and proximity wait enabled in a DNS rule, the GSS may wait indefinitely to perform a proximity selection. In this case, an applicable number of DRP probes fail to return RTT data. Because the GSS does not have sufficient RTT data
to make a proximity decision, it will wait forever to receive that data. If you then disable the proximity Wait parameter, the requests will continue to fail, even though there may be a valid second clause available, because the GSS is still
waiting for a sufficient number of RTT values to make the proximity decision.

I am a bit confused with your description in fact, do you mean that :
- If the wait parameter is enabled, the the GSS won't respond to the client with a DNS answer, as long as sufficient RTT data has been returned. This means, that if RTT data cannot be gathered for a specific D-proxy, there is a dead lock situation.
- If the wait parameter is disabled, then the GSS will go to the second DNS rule if not sufficient RTT information has been gathered by the GSS. But here is the following question : how long does the GSS wait, before evaluating the second DNS rule ?
