HASHING ALGORITHM

Hi All,

does anyone know the hashing algorithm used by a CSS when balancing with stickiness on source IP + round robin?

Hello Fausto,

if you do stickyness [advanced balance sticky-srcip] there is no hashing algorithm.

The CSS 1st look into its sticky table for an entry for the source ip, there is an entry, the server specified is being used, if no entry exists, the CSS do loadbalancing using round robin or whatever balancing method you have selected.
