How to Re-Register a Deleted 510 with CDM

I replaced a 510 we thought was bad with another one, and the 4650 CDM made me delete the old node before I could make the new one active. Now we have placed the old one at a different site, and CDM does not see it. Yet the 510 says it is registered with CDM but status is "pending". It appears to be working (cacheing)ok, we just can't see it from the CDM. How can I get it to register?

Assuming you deleted the original CE from the CDM via the ACNS GUI, all I've ever needed to do on the CE afterwards is a no cms enable, reboot and then cms enable so it can re-create the key pair.

This is what I do as well.

Sometimes it does not work and a restore-factory-default followed by a reboot and reconfiguring the CE is needed.

I agreed I have a policy now of if something strange is happening, such as the other day I had a CE that would not upgrade its code, you know the code and command are correct because you've just done 2 but this one won't work. factory reset it and start from scratch!
