HTTP 409 error

Users are getting intermittent http 409 error when they are in a specific UI on the web page served thru an ACE 5520.

I can't find anywhere that would casue me to believe these errors are being generated from the ACE, but the application and server teams can't seem to find errors either. My suspicion is that the users are getting "click happy" tryng to submit claims thru this web site.

Is there a way to use the ACE to capture this traffic or is this 409 error strictly genertaed from the web server/user browser?

hi,

Is this ASA 5520 or ACE?

ACE cannot generate 409 error but seem to be coming from the server.

The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that the                 request submitted by the client (e.g. your Web browser                 or our CheckUpDown robot) can not be completed because                 it conflicts with some rule already established. For                 example, you may get a 409 error if you try to upload a                 file to the Web server which is older than the one                 already there - resulting in a version control conflict.

If you still want to verify this, attached the link to get a capture on ACE

Sorry for the confusion, I was working on an ASA at the time I worte this. It is an ACE 4710.

Thanks for the validation of the 409 error, I had already mentioned to that the ACE was not generating this error.

They actually found the issue in code. So it must be the network device!
