Is there any data that shows the benefit of the HTTP AO in WAAS 4.1 compared to HTTP just getting optimized with TFO/LZ/DRE?

Michael,
The benefit you can expect to see from the HTTP AO is dependent on the specific application (HTTP version, connection persistence, number of objects, RTT latency, etc.). The generic guidance I usually give is to expect a 2x improvement specifically from the HTTP AO (above and beyond TFO+DRE+LZ). That being said, lab validation and application specific testing is your best bet for accurate numbers.

Michael,
From the CLI of the individual WAEs you can see HTTP AO statistics using the CLI command:
show statistics accelerator http
You can also look at the HTTP Acceleration Report in the Central Manager under Monitoring.

Zach -
Has any of Cisco's testing revealed that HTTP AO will provide x % improvement over normal TFO/LZ/DRE? Thanks.
