Hi,
I have met a situation, when I ping to VIPs on CSM,the response time wasn't stable, some reponse could reach about 900 ~ 1000ms,and I was very sure the network quality is good ( it shoud be about 50 ~ 100ms).I had tried to access the VIP service when reponse time was big,it seems ok.So I would like to verify the ICMP priority of VIP,any reply will be very appreciated.

Hi,
there was a posting in october regarding the same topic (see http://forums.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Dpass_through%26location%3Doutline%40%5E1%40%40.1dd68593/0#selected_message)
Maybe the answer Gilles provided helps.
Kind Regards,
Joerg

Hi,
as far as I know there is no way of changing the priority for the ICMP response.
