Inline Module Question

We have an inline module with the four gigabit ethernet ports installed in a WAE-512 appliance. We are currently using only two of the ports for inline interception/acceleration. Is it possible to use the second pair of ports for an additional inline instance to intercept traffic from a completely different layer 2 link? I have my doubts since this would basically be leveraging a single WAE-512 as two acceleration instances, but I just wanted to get a definitive answer.

Thanks for you help.

JT,

Yes you can use the second inlineGroup to accelerate a 2nd path in/out of this site.  See the following whitepaper for example topologies and use cases for inline interception.

Thanks Mike! So apparently this capability was added in v 4.2. Time to upgrade.

Thanks.
