I am working on a IP/TV solution integrated with ACNS. To the point, everything is setup and I am ready to stream. My problem arises when I try to take a .mpg or .mp4 and convert it to a hinted .mov file. When I use the IP/TV server application (version 5.2.7) to do this, it fails and freezes the application. I have to kill the service and restart it to get it back. QuickTime is installed so I am not sure why it is unable to convert these files successfully. There are times when it will convert the file, specifically the .mpg, but the Program Manager does not recognize the file as being hinted.
Any ideas?

Which version of Program Manager you are running? Also, when you are trying to convert the files from mp4 to mov format, is it failing for all of the files on the IP/TV server?

I am running ACNS 5.3.3 for the program manager as well as the rest of the Content Delivery Network. As far as the conversion process, it fails on all of the files...some of the time. It once converted a .mpg file, but the Program Manager did not reconize it as a "hinted" file, meaning I could not select it to be associated with a channel. It has always failed when trying to convert .mp4 files. Essentially, when I try to convert the files, the IP/TV Server application locks up. I do have QuickTime installed, so I am not sure why this is happening.
