Hi guys,
I have one question, how soon can CSS detect the service status when one service gets down? From cisco.com, I learned that the frequency could be from 2 to 255.
Does that mean 2 seconds to 255 seconds? or check the service 2 times to 255 times in one second?
If check one time every 2 seconds, I think that's too long... may many request will be directed to a down service.
Thank you!
Ed

Ed,
the frequency is measured in seconds.
So 2 seconds is the minimum.
If you had 100 servers and you had to check them 10 times per second, you would need a CPU just for the keepalives.

Got it. Thank you.
You know, I feel it's much better here than any other discuss sections in cisco.com. I always can find the right answer!
