Leap second on GSS

Hi all, I hope everything you doing goes well.

I'd like ask if any one knows about the leap second on GSS. actually I found the workaround for this issue that I should  turn ntp feature off, 2 days

before the leap second and turn it back on afterward...however, I am worried if that action gives any affect on service....

I don't want to take the risk so I want to make sure if I can do this job.

I will be waiting for your wise answer thank you.

Hello,

Im assuming you found the work around with bug CSCut33302

This is Cisco's wise answer:

Workaround:

Workaround, Turn off NTP prior to leap second and turn it back on afterward.

you stated you would turn off ntp 2 days prior, however the bug doesn't mention the 2days.

hopefully someone that has done the work around will chime in with their experience.

hope this helps,

please rate helpful posts

thanks
