I have a query about cisco load balancer. On cisco doc, it states that the CSS series with Application
Oriented Networking (AON) can act as a reverse proxy for incoming HTTP
requests. With this information pls tell me whether the following
scenario can be valid with the CISCO 11500 series:
If any client is trying to access http://www.xyz.com:80/Process/
I would like the load balancer to act as either a reverse proxy or redirect
the request internally to http://www.xyz.com:8080/Process/
So please tell me whether it is possible or not?
Thanks

the CSS alone can't be a proxy.
The CSS in combination with AON or with a Cache Engine [acting as a proxy] can intercept the traffic, forward it to the proxy [cache] or the servers based on some http filter.
