Hi All,

We are seeing Minor alarm unsupported_client in some of the WAE. When i did alarm detail support it shows no action required. But I would like to understand why the alarm is created. We have not seen in the previous code 4.1.5f.

Hello,

You see this alarm since there are clients which are using encrypted

MAPI connection to Exchange server and hence WAAS code will raise this

alarm. The alarm itself is informational and simply point out that MAPI

client is encrypted and hence MAPI acceleration will not help improve

performance.

However this alarm should go away automatically, If not you may be hitting a

timer issue on alarm. Let me know if this is the case. Thanks.
