Missing data in CM reports

Hi,

We are missing historical data in the CM reporting for most of the devices in our network for two particular days (26 and 28 Feb).  The days either side of these are fine.

If I log into the CM and look at the two area charts (original and optimised traffic over time) shown on the dashboard page see there is no data shown for 2/26/11 and 2/28/11. If I export the data and open it up in Excel (attached), I see that there are two columns I and J with headings 'Partial Data' and 'CE Count' and on those days I see 'Yes' in the Partial Data column and 1 in CE count. On other days I see up to 216 in the 'CE Count' column. So the question is what has happened to the data from the other devices on those days?  Can anyone shed any light on what might have happened?
Thanks
Claire

Hi Claire,

The only time CM will miss the numbers is when it had network connectivity issues or any other issues with CM itself. if the issue is with WAE, it will miss out on that WAE only.

Please look at sh alarm hist detail to see if there were any issues reported on CM during those 2 days.

Regards.

Thanks for the response Bhavin.  I've checked the CM alarm history and it appears to be completely empy, I've also noticed that the same thing seems to have happened again a couple of days ago.

If there is an outage to the connectivity of the CM should it still collect the historical information from the WAEs?

Thanks

Claire
