Hello,
I've got two new CSS, but when I start them, no prompt appears at terminal-console.
I checked my cable, my PC, all...
Is it possible a battery problem?
Thank you in advance

Which model CSS is this? If its 1105x, 1115x, 11800 you need to use the console cable that came with the unit plus the adapter (RJ45 to RG45) if the box was delivered with one.
If its an 1150x model any router console cable should work. Try connecting the PC to a router and ensure that works. Also disable flow control in you comms package. Also make sure you are connected to the console port, not the management port.

Hello, thank you for the answer.
My CSS is an old CSS-11051-AC, so I think I need to use the console cable you suggested me...
We've lost that cable, so I'm looking for a new cable or a pinout table.
Thank you again.

Hello,
thank you for your link.
We tried to make a cable as showed, but we are able only to see the "rommom>" prompt... we're not able to send keystroke.
It seems the cable can only receive, but not send.
We have remaked the cable two times, so I think there is some othe problem.
Ahve you got any other suggestion?
Thank you again for your kindness.
