Outbound Proxy supporting VPN connection

Dear All,

My company is using Application and Content Networking System Software 5.1.9) to provide outbound Internet connection. All outbound connection has to go through this proxy server. Our Internal network does not have the Internet routing or DNS info. For security reason, we do not want Internet routes and DNS populated into our internal network without Proxy. In other words, I can't do ping or traceroute from internal network.

The above setup does not support client to site outbound IPSec VPN connection.

Is there anyway to reconfigure the proxy to support it? If not, does Cisco have a solution?

I dont think it is possible to have a client to site outbound IP sec VPN connection for this scenario. Since you are intention is not to populate the internal network with internet routes and DNS entries and at the same time have internet connection, you cannot do without the proxy. You can either have the client to site IP sec VPN tunnel connection or connection through the proxy. Having both would not possible and also not an efficient solution.
