When we do sh serverfarm we get the following:

serverfarm : abc-http, type: HOST

total rservers : 2

---------------------------------

----------connections-----------

real weight state current total failures

---+---------------------+------+------------+----------+----------+---------

rserver: abc_136.39

167.238.136.39:0 8 OPERATIONAL 2 121 13

rserver: abc_136.40

167.238.136.40:0 8 OPERATIONAL 0 41 8

Does anybody happen to know if the failures mean the rserver was not accessable from the ACE?

Thanks...

Normally, this is when the ACE has had a problem with the backend server connection. For SSL connections, if the initial handshake fails.

The connection failures counter increments only if the ACE attempts to load balance a connection and the ACE does not receive a SYN-ACK from the real server in response to a SYN or if the real server responds to the SYN with a RST.
