Saving config to passive SCM

Hello.

I am configuring a CSS 11506 for the first time (image is sg0820201). I am not sure if when I type "write mem" in active SCM the config also goes to the passive one.

I can do it in boot mode, but this way the CSS restarts and all available services go down.

Thanks in advance,

Joao Carvalho

the CSS should not restart after typing those commands.

If it does, do a 'show core' to see if there is any core file.

In case you do have core files, you need to open a service request w/ the TAC and provide the core file so it can be analysed.

Gilles.

The command to use is :

passive sync startup-config

from the boot config mode and after a write mem.

Gilles.

Does your CSS restarts after you type these commands?
