Does anyone know how to get vmware tools installed on the virtual appliance Cisco offers? I usually install open vmtools from repositories or mount the install files downloaded directly from VMware but this seems to be either a heavily modified layer on top of RHEL/Centos or a distro that Cisco made themselves. Anyone have experience with this ?
My goal is to be able to manage this appliance in the standard way we've been managing VMs in our ESXi environment.
