SQL load-balancing

Hello,

I want to load-balance SQL servers (running microsoft SQL). All servers have its own database but the databases are the same on each server. The database will be used in read-only not in update mode.

Does anyone have any experience in SQL load-balancing using CSS 11500 ?

I have seen other people doing it with success.

However, I never did try myself.

I would think you just point the app at the CSS and setup a content rule for the two SQL ports. TCP 1433 & UDP 1434 I think.

I see no reason that shouldn't work if you are only doing queries.
