I ever tried to configure Box-to-Box redundancy CSS11506 and CS-100(Arrow point). It was successfully tested.

It looks have no problem to make redundancy between CSS11500 series and CSS 11000 Series.

By the way, when I have tested Redundancy Between CSS11506 and CSS11800, failed to work.

Is there anyone who try this configuration?

My results are following.

circuit VLAN 1

description "OUT SIDE"

redundancy

ip address A.B.C.254/24

circuit VLAN 2

description " Firewall Load balancing"

redundancy

ip address F.F.F.1/24

circuit VLAN 3

description " Redundancy"

ip add 10.1.1.2/24

redundancy-protocol

There were no arp list about device at outside.

It is sure that no service is.

Topology is following.

Router----L2-Switch---CSS 11506andCSS11800---two Firewalls----CSS11506andCSS11506

I just did the test in the lab

CSS11800 running 5.0(37)

CSS11506 running 5.20(7)

APP session comes up fine.

commit_redund script works ok.

Failover is also ok.

No problem with this setup in my lab.

But officially this is not recommended.

Gilles.
