Folks I have a situation where sticky by cookie is not working. When 2 nodes are UP it does not stick to the same node. When one node is up sticky is fine

See below my config

serverfarm host 24.8.1.10-80

probe TCP_21511

rserver test1 21511

inservice

rserver test2 21511

inservice

sticky http-cookie sticky_xwalk 24.8.1.10-80_STICKY

cookie insert browser-expire

replicate sticky

serverfarm 24.8.1.10-80

policy-map type loadbalance first-match 24.8.1.10-80_POLICY

class class-default

sticky-serverfarm 24.8.1.10-80_STICKY

what am i doing wrong?

The config looks correct - that's how we have ours set up.

When you look at the http header on a test workstation, do you actually see the cookie?

On the workstation we see the cookie but when 2 nodes are active in a serverfarm it does not stick to the same node.

I'm curious to know if the session made it into the sticky database...

Do you see it when you do "show sticky database static?"

Have you opened a TAC case?

you may need to enable persistence rebalance with a parameter-map.

Gilles.
