Traffic hitting the secondary ACE

Hi All,

I am seeing a lot of traffic hitting the secondary ACE module.

ACE-Sec/C1# sh ft group status

FT Group : 3
Configured Status : in-service
Maintenance mode : MAINT_MODE_OFF
My State : FSM_FT_STATE_STANDBY_HOT
Peer State : FSM_FT_STATE_ACTIVE
Peer Id : 1
No. of Contexts : 1
Running cfg sync status : Running configuration sync has completed
Startup cfg sync status : Startup configuration sync has completed
ACE-Sec/C1#

ACE-Sec/C1# sh conn count
total current connections : 19764

I am confused how traffic can pass through an ACE in STANDBY_HOT state.

Hi CF,

These are the connections that are synched between the two LB's for seamless failover. Doesn't indicate that you have actual traffic traversing through the device.

Kanwal
